SPG is known for having a variety of games and promotions for members. While many readers seem to have great luck winning free points and other prizes, I always seem to get the short end of the stick. (Boo hoo!) 🙂 Anyway, another promotion has surfaced today that has the potential to be very lucrative. Unfortunately it is targeted and none of my accounts are eligible. Hopefully you don’t have similar luck!

SPG points are quite valuable and even a 7,500 point bonus could be worth shifting upcoming stays to get. Of course the free night offer is at a completely different level and may justify doing a mattress run if you can find a cheap property to stay at and if you have a worthy redemption in mind.

  2. I got the 7,500 points after 3 stays offer. Hmmmm I have some idea how to spend three nights in SPG hotel. Sounds good.

  3. I got the 7,500 points after 3 stays offer, which I won’t do, not worth switching existing plans for this.

  5. I got two free nights! One after one stay, another after a second stay!! Woo-hoo! Catch: I have to book through the app, the terms clearly state that bookings through the website do not earn this bonus. So I have to download the app and actually use it (bleah)… but for two free nights, I’ll deal 🙂 THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TELLING ME ABOUT THIS!!!!!!

    7k after 7 stays
    7k additional after 14 stays
    7k additional after 21 stays
    Total if 21k bonus

    I travel a lot for work and I’ll probably do 14 stays, but I’ll never hit 21 by 6/30.

  9. I got the worst deal so far it seems like –

    6th Stay – 6k
    12th Stay – 6k
    18th Stay – 6k

    Hyatt will give me 30k points for 15 nights. Assuming a 2 nights per stay I could score 75,000 points with Hyatt compared to this 18k. Kind of weak.

  14. Second stay earns one free night award. Fourth stay earns one free night award. Potential bonus two free night awards.
