New Amex Offer For Extra Points at Staples
American Express has a new offer for Staples. You can earn one extra Membership Rewards point and could possibly stack it 10% back at Staples.
Get 1 additional Membership Rewards point(s) per dollar spent on purchases made using your eligible, enrolled Card online at staples.com by 12/31/2018.
- Valid online only. Valid only on US website.
- Not valid on purchases shipped outside of the US. See merchant website for shipping policy.
- Excludes Staples branded e-gift cards, Quill, Smilemaker, Staples Business Advantage, Staples 4 Government, Staples Toner Services, Staples Technology Solutions, Staples Promotional Products, Staples Print Solutions, Copy and Printing Services, Staples Contract and Commercial, Staples App Center, Staples Industrial, Staples Book Rental, Staples Simplexity, Staples Share Fund, Coastwide Labs, Catalog and Staples Fundraising.
This offer is showing on some business cards that also have a 10% Amex Offer for Staples that we covered last month. That offer is for in-store and online purchases. While the extra point offer here is available at at staples.com only.
If you add both offers to your card, it’s possible that they will stack. With an Amex Blue Business Plus card for example you could end up earning a total of 13X on Staples purchases online.
An extra point at Staples is not really a deal as you can usually earn 5X with Chase Ink Plus/Cash or Amex SimplyCash Plus. But it’s an added point if it does stack with the other Amex Offer.
