Happy Sunday! There are a couple of gift card deals roaming around I think are worth mentioning. Let’s take a look.

Staples iTunes Gift Card Deal

Right now Staples is offering 15% off iTunes eGift cards. They have the following varieties in stock:

Since Staples is an office supply store you should earn 5X Ultimate Rewards with a Chase Ink Plus/Cash or 5% back with an Amex SimplyCash Plus. Portals do not pay out on gift cards from Staples.

Reselling

Depending on your bulk selling relationships, you might be able to get around 84-85% when selling these cards. You won’t make much of a profit but it might be worth considering for the points.

PayPal Digital Gifts Groupon Card Deal

PayPal Digital Gifts is also offering a decent deal today through their own website. Currently you can purchase the following:

These cards probably won’t be profitable for reselling, but a 10% discount on Groupon purchases could be nice if you regularly buy from the site, plus you should also earn 5X Ultimate Rewards points if you pay with a Chase Ink Plus/Cash card.

Conclusion

Both of these deals are decent and worth considering if they fit within your needs. I know a lot of people who have generated a ton of points with iTunes gift cards, although the market is a bit soft right now. Either way, happy 5Xing.

    Do I have to go to an actual Staples store to use my Chase Ink Cash card for the 5% back? Or would using the card using the link above suffice? (and I understand portal link is useless in this case)
