How the plans change on a trip like this. Lately, I have started to look at the calendar with a bit of nervousnes. You are probably thinking to yourself, why? Well we only have another six weeks to make it back to Las Vegas and we haven't even hit Washington D.C. yet. We have to be back from Guatemala and Mexico by October 21st for my dad's wedding, so that means leaving for our three months in those countries sometime around the end of July.
We don't have very many pictures for you today, since it was another driving day where we didn't accomplish much. After yesterday, you will not see me complaining. When we got back to the hotel last night I was exhausted and a tad annoyed from missing everything. I just laid down and collapsed on the bed. When I awoke this morning, I felt quite refreshed.
I am going to combine these two days together as not much happened on Day 36. Saturday really consisted of two things. We drove about 5 hours and went to the movies. The day started out quite normal. We woke up in the morning, checked out of the hotel and got on the road towards Nashville. The drive should have only taken us about 3 1/2 hours, but since it was Memorial Day weekend and the freeway was under heavy construction it took us about five.
