Save up to 25% on Hotel Bookings with New Amex Offer

A new Amex Offer can save you up to 25% on hotel bookings. This offer is for TripFuel, a site that I had never heard of before. It is owned by Priceline and you can find some deals that will beat other prices when using the Amex Offer.

The Offer

Get a one-time $50 statement credit by using your enrolled Card to spend a minimum of $200+ in one or more transactions online at tripfuel.com/amexoffer by 11/14/2018. Valid only for hotel bookings.

Conclusion

TripFuel is a hotel booking site that is owned by Priceline. Looks like the Amex Offer page is the only page currently working on that site. With this offer, you get a $50 discount if you spend at least $200. But that’s only a good deal if the prices are competitive.

I took a quick look at some hotels. Prices seemed to be either the same or more expensive than booking direct on the hotel website. W Hoboken was the same price as booking through SPG. Kimptom Surfcomber in South Beach Miami was also the same price as booking through IHG. Hyatt Place San Jose/Pinares was $6 more per night at TripFuel. Hyatt Place New York/Midtown-South was even worse, about $75 more for a night through TripFuel.

So this Amex Offer won’t work for every hotel, but worth taking a look, especially if your price is close to $200. You could net some decent deals.
