Need to Know

  • This one is targeted. Some members will receive it and others won’t. I haven’t seen reports of different amounts, however on previous targeted offers the bonus amount has varied for some people
  • There doesn’t seem to be an expiration date listed for this targeted offer on the Amex site, so keep in mind it could go away at any time

Conclusion

While neither of these transfer bonuses is particularly exciting, I do love Avianca LifeMiles in the right situation, I just wish the bonus was a bit higher. Still, these transfer bonuses should be taken advantage of when it is timely, so if you can work these programs into future trips then it might make sense to pull the trigger.
