The other day the Alaska MileagePlan portal ran a one day only 15X promotion and today the United portal is running one of their own. Let’s take a look at the deal, which stores are participating and how you can maximize it
Earn 15X United MileagePlus miles at select stores for one day only. Promotion ends at 11:59PM ET on 1/22/2017.
- Old Navy
- Banana Republic
- Under Armour
- Rosetta Stone
- Sunglass Hut
- H&R Block
- Saks 5th Avenue
- Lord & Taylor
- Neiman Marcus
Neiman Marcus Amex Offer + 15X
As you might recall, Neiman Marcus and Amex just released an offer giving $50 back with a $200+ purchase. Just as with the Alaska portal bonus the other day, these deals stack. So, you can get a $50 credit with a purchase and earn 15X.
For example a $200 purchase will only cost $150 and will receive 3,000 Alaska miles. That is an amazing deal and one I think a lot of people will be jumping on. Gift cards are excluded in the terms. Some people have reported getting credit with some portals for gift cards, but it is far from guaranteed.
Nike Discover Cash Offer + 15X
As I covered last night, Discover is offering a 25% bonus when redeeming Discover Cash for Nike gift cards. With the deal it only costs $15 in Discover Cash for a $20 gift card. Basically, by stacking these deals you can get 25% off with Discover Cash and then earn 15X!
Groupon Coupon + 15X
Finally, Groupon is running a special on purchases through 1/22. If you use the code OFF you will get $5 off $15, $10 off $30, $20 off $60 or $30 off $100. Getting 30%+ off is about as good as it gets with Groupon, but also earning 15X is pretty amazing. If you have had your eye on a massage, restaurant or other deal, now is probably the time to buy.
Now that Alaska and United have offered this amazing bonus hopefully other mileage portals (cough Southwest) will offer it as well! Either way, there is definitely some opportunity today. Happy 15Xing!
