Insane Vegas Stories

I was perusing through my Twitter feed this afternoon when I found a fun article from Vegas Chatter. The article, which tells 30 insane stories told by bartenders and cocktail waitresses in Vegas, was written by a local who themself works in the industry.  As someone who has called Vegas home for over 20 years, nothing really surprised me.

From bad tippers to porn stars performing adult acts in the middle of a casino, it really paints a very accurate picture of the wild side of Vegas. Vegas Chatter is of course a mainstream publication, so while the stories are risque, the author has held back anything that is beyond PG13.

Here are some of my favorites:

  • Bartenders and cocktail waitresses being asked to help get people out of first dates.
  • A cocktail waitress “crop dusting” a patron who doesn’t tip.
  • Someone using the McLovin fake ID from Superbad.

Finally, there is a credit card angle to all of this:

I work in a nightclub and celebrities’ credit cards get declined all the time. The last time it happened it was with a rapper whose music talks about all the money he has. I got a kick out of that.

Maybe they are just visiting the club after a quick stop at Office Depot and their credit card just had a fraud alert? Happens to the best of us.

You can read the incredibly entertaining article over at Vegas Chatter.

  1. Amusing stories, but hardly insane. A patron did not tip you, wow! Maybe that drives you insane, but hardly insane.
