WOW Fare Sale, Just $69 From US to Europe

The Icelandic budget airline often has great deals, and this is as good as it gets. They only fly from several US cities, and the lowest $69 price is only available from Boston, Miami and San Francisco, to select destinations in Europe.

The Offer

WOW Air has several $69 one way fares from several US cities to Europe. Stop over in Reykjavik.

  • From: Boston, Miami, San Francisco
  • To: Stockholm, Copenhagen, Berlin, Frankfurt, Bristol, London, Edinburgh

Availability is mostly in May, September and October. You can book directly on their website.

Fees

WOW Air charges for almost everything, so make sure you go over their list of fees before booking. You’re only allowed a free carry-on item (17x13x10 in./22 lbs), which is very very small. You’ll have to pay for a carry-on bag and checked luggage.

Seat assignment will also cost you, $9.99-$10.99. Check out the full list of fees and charges here.

Conclusion

Obviously an amazing price for a flight from US to Europe, even with a stop over in Iceland, which WOW Air advertises it as two vacations in one. Return leg will cost you more, somewhere between $200 and $300, but that still gives you a good total price for your round trip.

Make sure to maximize your credit card rewards. Use Amex Platinum that offers 5x MR on airfare, Chase Sapphire Reserve for 3x UR on travel, or Citi Prestige for 3x TYP on airfare.
