AAdvantage Shopping Mall Back to School Bonus Offer

American Airlines has a new Back to School promotion that can earn you some easy miles when you shop through their shopping portal.

The Offer

During the “Back to School Bonus” bonus campaign, which runs from 07/23/17 through
08/18/17 at 11:59:59 pm ET (the “Bonus Period”), Member will earn a one-time bonus of up to 2,000 AAdvantage® miles on qualifying purchases, in addition to the standard AAdvantage® miles earned from shopping online through the AAdvantage eShopping mall.

Key Terms

  • “Back to School Bonus” bonus campaign runs from 07/23/17 through
    08/18/17 at 11:59:59 pm ET
  • Member will earn a one-time bonus of up to 2,000 AAdvantage® miles on qualifying purchases
  • Qualifying purchases do not include returns, cancellations, shipping and handling, taxes, gift card or other cash equivalent purchases, and certain products that are not eligible for bonus miles.
  • Please allow 8-10 weeks after the Bonus Period for bonus award miles to post to your AAdvantage® account.

Earning Structure

  • Spend $150, get 500 bonus miles
  • Spend $300, get 1,000 bonus miles
  • Spend $500, get 2,000 bonus miles

Conclusion

This bonus adds 3.3X-4X AA miles in addition to the normal payout you will receive from the portal. It’s a good idea to still use a comparison site like Cashback Monitor to make sure you are getting the best return. But, usually these bonus will give you great rates. Happy shopping.
