Here are some of the key features of the Amazon Business Prime American Express card:

  • 5% back or 90 day terms on U.S. purchases at Amazon Business, Amazon.com, AWS and Whole Foods with an eligible Prime membership
  • 2% back at U.S. restaurants, U.S. gas stations and on wireless telephone services
  • 1% back on everything else
  • No annual fee

Analysis

When this card launched recently the bonus was $125, so this is an increased offer. For those with a lot of business spending and a Prime account, this is a card that is definitely worth looking closely at. I know Amazon gift cards can often be sourced in places paying 5X with other cards, but the simplicity of earning 5% back or giving yourself 90 days to pay the card back is definitely appealing.
