Many people are reporting that they have been targeted with some very lucrative offers via the Card Match Tool. from CreditCards.com.
Specifically the two offers are:
- Amerian Express Platinum Card – 100,000 Membership Rewards points after $3k in spending
- American Express Premier Rewards Gold – 50,000 Membership Rewards points after $3k in spending
To see if you are targeted head over to the Card Match Tool and enter your information. They do not do a hard credit check, but merely screen you for available targeted offers.
I think the Platinum offer is really good while the Gold offer is just alright. To be fair and provide a little context, Amex does send out mailed targeted offers of 100k and even 150k very rarely, however most people don’t receive them.
While there has recently been a secret 100k bonus for the Platinum Business card and 75k bonus for the Business Gold card we haven’t seen an online offer like this for the personal Platinum card in quite some time.
Depending on how you value Membership Rewards points, the Platinum bonus could be worth $1,500-$2,000. The card does carry a $450 annual fee which is not waived, however it does come with a $200 annual airline credit each calendar year, lounge access, a $100 global entry credit, purchase and loss protection and a slew of other features.
This is a great deal that won’t last long. The last time a deal like this came around it was gone very quickly. Head over to the tool to see if you are one of the chosen ones!
