This is good news for Hyatt fans out there.  It will be interesting to see how the details play out for status etc. This will give us options in areas, like Europe, where Hyatt is severely lacking.

I think we have all been feeling the application squeeze.  I have cooled off my apps quite a bit after last year’s carnage filled app spree.  I have been more strategic with my applications and I have been focusing more on earning big spend bonuses with the World of Hyatt card and the Hilton Ascend card.  That makes me feel like I am not missing out so much on my non bonus spend.

Why Amex Offers Are Still Great Deals – Running with Miles

This is in response to the large devaluation that came around for Amex Offers last week. I agree with Charlie for the most part.  Having said that I think this change makes below average cards, like the Green charge card, a sure cancellation now when people may have paid the fee in the past because of Amex Offers.
