IHG further expands luxury footprint with acquisition of Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas – IHG

Not a huge addition but this should help boost one of IHG’s downfalls, aspirational hotels.  It will be interesting to see if they are added to the points lineup and how many points they will cost.  Maybe we will be able to use our last uncapped free nights there.

The Best Spring Break Destination in Each State – Travel Pulse

I usually loathe click through/slide show articles but I found it interesting since they included all 50 states.  Traverse City, Michigan would be a little cold for Spring Break but it is a beautiful area.

PSA – Don’t buy the old Amazon gift card designs at Safeway, Kroger or any store – Miles Per Day

We covered the first part of this story previously.  There is some good info in here coming from managers at the stores indicating which cards have the most issues.  Safeway seems to be a scammer target right now, particularly in Washington.
