Citi Thank You 5x Bonus Offer Emails for Easy Bonus Points
This week Citi sent out some awesome spending offers. It seems the offer you receive is based on whether you have the Thank You Preferred or the Thank You Premier Card. Either way, bonus points are never a bad thing and I was very pleasantly surprised to see my offer in the mail.
Citi Thank You Premier
Earn 5 ThankYou Points per $1 spent, up to 2,500 points, through 12/31/2017 on eligible purchases you make at
- Computer and Electronics
- Toy Stores
- Department Stores
Citi Thank You Preferred
Earn 5% back as a statement credit up to $25, through 12/31/2017 on eligible purchases you make
- Online (Excludes dining and entertainment purchases.)
- You must click the link in the email to activate the deal by 11/30/2017
While the limits are relatively low, 2500 Thank You Points or $25, these categories are expansive and easy to max out. Basically, you’ll earn bonus points or cashback on up to $500 in the 2 cards respective categories. Both offers come just in time for the holiday season and are an excellent supplement to the Discover and Chase Freedom 5% Categories this year (Walmart, Department Stores, Amazon and Target in case you missed it.) The Thank You Premier offer, while not quite as open as “online” is pretty expansive and I honestly can’t think of a Christmas gift that I would buy that isn’t in one of those categories. The only thing that would make this offer that much better was if they matched the $1500 limit of the other 5% cards, but hey, I’m thankful for these great offers in the first place.
