Hilton Promo: 100% Bonus Points

Hilton is offering members a chance to purchase points with an 80-100% bonus. From now until February 26 you can get up to 100% bonus when you buy at least 10,000 Hilton Honors points. I’ve seen accounts targeted for an 80% bonus and others a full 100% bonus points.

This is a pretty decent promotion. If you want to max out the bonus offer, you can buy 160,000 points and you’ll end up with 320,000 points for $1,600. As long as you buy 10,000 Points you will receive up to double the points. The price per point works out to .5 cents.

Conclusion

It can make sense to purchase points at these prices if you’re planning on using the points for a 5 night award stay since you get the 5th night free. Also remember that if you weren’t targeted for either of these offers but know someone who was, they can always buy the points through their account and transfer them to you. Additionally, you can pool points with up to 10 Hilton Honors members.

  1. Lol, not at all, especially for this promotion.

Mark, you should point out that you can get 3 points per dollar with Ink business preferred.

    • for the love of God do not buy points from Hilton. Its a ripoff. even a slight google will show you 100 ways to do it better and cheaper. Use some common sense

      • For many people it doesn’t make sense to purchase points but for some it will. At 1/2 a cent a piece there are times where it could work out. If you have an upcoming trip where you would get close to once cent a piece etc. (it does happen) and don’t have a chance to earn them in time it can present savings. If you are staying for 5 nights and get the 5th night free you could get value versus paying cash. And if you need to top off for an upcoming award stay it can make sense.

There are times when it does make sense. It isn’t a one size fits all game Kyle.
