  1. I am thankful for my husband; he is my best friend he keeps the days bright and happy.

  2. It has been a tough year health wise so I am thankful for the fact he is home for the holidays before returning to hospital for more surgery following the first of the year. I am thankful that we see an end in sight.

Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year, everyone!

  3. I’m thankful that I’m in a position to help out here and there; also grateful for the trip I have planned next summer

  4. I’m grateful to be able to travel more with miles and points. This is a great new hobby for me that is really paying off…after just having spent 10 days in Cabo.

  5. I’m thankful for health and family. And for the cheap travel we’ve been able to do this year and into the next 🙂

  6. Thankful for internet and find great info about travel hacking. Thankful for the community and thank you for all the hard work!

  7. I am thankful for my wonderful family, with whom I just enjoyed a week-long cruise and a few days touring Miami. I’m also thankful for the travel strategies I learn through your musings and the $2000 in Southwest vouchers we earned from being bumped in Atlanta on the way back! Best of the season to all!

  8. Thankful for all the positive developments in 2014 and also for being able to spend the holidays in Thailand once more with friends and family.

  9. I am thankful that 5 days with the in-laws went as smoothly as can be expected — and I am thankful that it’s over!

  10. In the last four years I’ve been treated for cancer, diagnosed with chronic kidney disease, and suffered through six compression fractures of the spine. I’m grateful I spent Christmas afternoon at the Plaza del Toros in Cali, Colombia, watching six bulls get it a lot worse than I have. At least, so far.

  11. I am grateful for so much. Firstly, I am grateful
for good health. Living in a world where I am fortunate
enough to live my life with relative freedom provides
me with a great deal of humility. I only hope that
others in the world will have such freedoms, both civil and financial
and that one day freedom will not be limited to the First World.
I am grateful that I will be taking a 1 year sabbatical
next year and will be studying and traveling.
I am grateful for all of my family and friends who support
    me in my life’s journey.

  12. i am thankful that i was able to freq flyer fly to usa from india to boston to be with my long lost family that still loves me!

  14. Love your newsletter! I must say that the greatest thing in my life to be thankful for is my family. No matter what I know that they will support me, give me strength and love me even with all of my flaws. I feel beyond blessed everyday to have them in my life.

  15. I am so thankful for my family. We had a great time on Christmas with my mom, dad, brother, husband and our 2 wonderful little boys. I’m very blessed that they are healthy and happy!

  16. I’m thankful for so many things. With only three days left before my life-partner arrives for a visit, I’m going to have to go with her :-). We met when neither of us were “looking,” when we were much more inwardly focused. Since May, we have grown into a beautiful, deep, playful, inspiring “muy serio!” (she’s from Spain/Catalunia–very serious) relationship, and I continue to fall fall fall in love with her, many times a day. And I’ll see her in three days!!! (I would gift her the Kindle!) // And grateful for your blog–gracias!

  17. I am thankful for my dear wife and darling daughter and that we were able to give her a joyful and delightful Christmas.

  18. I’m thankful for maintaining my health status, and am so grateful that my parents are still alive to celebrate the holidays with me. Really just grateful that our family can be together.

  19. Thankful for people that has not given up on me during time of trouble, and those that gave me second chances. Hope against hope.

    • Whoops. I forgot to say what I was thankful for! I am thankful for my family, my home, my pets and the fact that we had a wonderful Christmas!

  20. I am Very Thankful for your blog and that my husband and I can travel to visit family more often now. Wonderful!
    Happy New Year!

  21. I am Thankful that all of my family is here to celebrate the holidays with me. Everyone is well and we have a roof over our heads and plenty of food to eat.

  23. I’m thankful for world economic trends that have led to the rapidly decreasing price of genomic sequencing which will soon enable stunning breakthroughs in human disease prevention and reversal in the coming decade!
