New American Express Interface Shows Points Earning Activity for Each Transaction

American Express has introduced a new interface for online accounts. The new interface is available in Beta version for now. One of the new interesting features is that it showspoints earning details for each transaction. This makes it easier to figure what each purchase has earned. The earning details for each transaction are not yet working on all cards. I don’t see it yet on my Platinum, SPG or Old Blue Cash cards, but it is working on my Business Plus card for example.

To preview the new version, go to Statement & Activity and click ‘Preview New Version’.

From there you can click on any of the transactions that have posted to see how many points you have earned.

You could do this with the older version as well but it is now more straightforward.

Conclusion

The new interface is showing for all cards but the earning details of each transaction are not showing up on all of them.

Do you like the new interface?
