Rakuten has another sitewide sale today for Green Monday. They sell almost anything, but the discount is also working on gift card purchases. Let’s take a look at the details.

The Offer

Rakuten has a great sale today with 20% off site wide. To get the discount you just need to use promo code GREEN20 at checkout. The code even works on gift cards and they do have a small selection.

Here’s the links to their gift card option. Just keep in mind that the code can be used only once per account within a single transaction with one merchant, so look for larger denominations.

Conclusion

A nice discount, but limited to one use per merchant, so you can’t really scale this offer. You can go through a portal such as TopCashBack for a possible 5%. Rakuten also has their own rewards, Rakuten Super Points. Members automatically get 1% back in points on every purchase and those points can also be used for gift card purchases.
