Upcoming Miles to Memories Meet Ups – Denver, Ann Arbor, Las Vegas

I wanted to put out a quick post letting the readers know that Shawn and I are planning a few different meet ups in 2019.  I posted the info in our Facebook Group as well but I know not all of our readers are in there or use Facebook so I wanted to let them know as well.

We have one planned for sure and two more that we are still figuring out the details on but wanted to let you know so you could keep them in mind.  We are also going to try to do one every other month in 2020 in various US cities.

Denver

The first one we have on the books is for Denver.  Shawn and I will be in Denver on May 19th and we will be at Jagged Mountain Brewery from 12-3pm.  Feel free to stop in any time during that period to chat miles and points.

Ann Arbor

Shawn and I plan on attending the Ann Arbor DO this year (July 20-21) and figured we might as well do a meet up while there.  We will most likely plan it for sometime Saturday but could also do it sometime Friday night depending on the DO’s schedule.  I will post more details when we get things finalized.

Las Vegas

Lastly, we are going to try to put something together in Las Vegas the first or second weekend of November.  This may be a little more than a meet up with some presentations on miles and points etc. but that is yet to be determined.  I will also give you more information on this as it becomes available but we wanted you to have it in the back of your mind.

Conclusion

That does it for now.  I look forward to meeting some of you in person and hopefully we can make this more of a regular thing next year.  I also host meet ups in Detroit once every month or two if anyone is interested in those.

If you can make it to the Denver meet up in May please let me know in the comments so I have an idea of how many people we can expect.

  1. Tim and I volunteer from 12-3p in downtown Denver the day you’re here. We would love to join you if you can stretch it to 4pm. There’s a Front Range Travel Hackers Group on FB. Would you like me to mention your event there?

    • Amy the more the merrier – sounds good to me! I will check with Shawn on hanging around till 4. Could probably swing 3:30 for sure though.

    • Rob we meet in Farmington Hills every month or two if you want to get involved in one of those as well email me at mark@milestomemories.

  2. Can you paraphrase what’s said in the do. The topics are interesting but not flying the to hear them.

Better yet ask them do it online interactive through Skype or xoom

    • I am not really involved in it at all – it has been going on for years – they may be open to streaming the presenters though. Not sure.

    • Excellent – look forward to seeing you in Ann Arbor. I will see what we can do about the 2nd week in November 🙂
