Loading the Offer

This offer comes in the form of a digital coupon that needs to be loaded to your account. Once you load the offer, the $10 discount should come off automatically when you purchase a single $150+ on Visa Five Back gift cards.

The best option for maximizing is to use a card that earns a category bonus at grocery stores. These Visa Five Back cards are capped at $200 but other variable load cards have worked in the past as well. $500 variable load cards have a $5.95 fee, so you will earn a $4.05 profit per card plus credit card rewards. Depending on your liquidation bandwidth this could be a good deal if you have access to multiple accounts. But make sure you test whether variable load cards will trigger the offer.

For more info on liquidating, see: How To Liquidate Prepaid Visa & Mastercard Gift Cards

The coupon is limited to one-time use only per account. Either way it is a great deal and a great way to get negative cost spend. It may be worth a visit if you have any of these supermarkets nearby.

  1. Sweet, I’d been looking for a grocery store deal to use with my Amex offer for 1500 MR back on $100+ purchase.

  2. Another quick question… if the coupon doesn’t work with $500 VL cards, does it work with BHN Grocery or Dining cards? Even though these are only $200 max cards, I believe the fee for these is $1 cheaper than the 5% card…

  3. This offer seems to apply to the $200 max load 5% back cards. Has anyone validated that it will work on non 5% Back cards (e.g. $500 variable load cards?

    • I believe they have worked in the past for $500 variable loads as well, but you should test it out at your local store to make sure.
