Ink Plus Referral 70K Offer

Ink Plus Referral

Chase has emailed current account holders with a new Ink Plus referral promotion. Account holders can receive 10,000 bonus points for each successful Ink Plus referral up to 50,000 points total. Current cardholders can refer people at chasereferafriend.com or through the link in your email. (The Ink Plus referral can take a few days to be sent.)

The great thing about this referral is new cardholder gets a fantastic offer as well. New members referred through this offer will get 70,000 Ultimate Rewards points after spending $5,000 in the first three months. (Current public offer is 50,000.)

A Few More Things About The Ink Plus Referral

Since the best public offer is 50,000 points right now, this is a good deal. If you are interested in the offer you can click here and apply through my personal referral link.

I also want to mention that this is the third time we have seen this offer in the past 4-6 months. That means that it is likely to return. I wouldn’t recommend getting this just for the bonus if it isn’t part of your normal plans.

If you are already in the market for the card then by all means get it. This is a fantastic deal as I value that 70,000 bonus at north of $1,000. Be careful though not to get in over your head.

Conclusion

With the speculative news that the Ink Bold charge card is being discontinued, it seems that Chase is being agressive in marketing the Plus credit card. This Ink Plus referral is a great deal and I highly recommend the card for business owners.

  1. Thanks, Shawn! Nice timing. I was thinking about having my wife apply for an Ink in-branch to get the 70k. Now maybe I can just refer her and have her apply online! Any reason you can think of (other than giving you well-deserved credit!) why I couldn’t refer my wife?

Also, I have an Ink MasterCard that I got a little over a year ago. I think the Ink’s are Visa’s now. I still have my Ink MC account open. Think I could apply for the Visa and get it (get referred by you or my wife – assuming she gets one)? And then I’d probably shut down my Ink MC before the next annual fee date (to open up another slot at Chase – or do business cards not count towards the total number of cards you can likely have with Chase?).

    Thanks again!

    • In the past spouses have been able to refer each other for these offers. I don’t see any reason why you shouldn’t be able to refer your wife. Many people have had success getting the Visa version of the Ink after having the Mastercard so that should work for you as well.

As for the number of cards, that is a total only Chase knows. I do believe the business cards are included in your total though. I know people with 7 cards who are fine and people who have 4-5 and have been cut off by Chase. It really is YMMV.

      • Thanks, as always, for your insights and great deals. Hopefully my wife will get it. My referral page says “invite businesses before October 10th.” If she isn’t able to refer me by then, I’ll definitely ask you to refer me – if I decide to go for an Ink Visa.

  2. […] I have been pretty consistent on this site over the years about my feelings about certain things. People should never take on debt and should always be careful before jumping on that next great deal. This week we saw Chase widely release a pretty stellar 70,000 bonus point offer for the Chase Ink Plus (personal referral link) credit card. If you have the card then you may have your own personal referral link. (Details.) […]
