Conclusion
Calling credit card reconsideration after an unsuccessful application is often the best option. I like to do a search to see what the latest data points say about their recon experiences. Generally I’ll then call when I think I have a good handle on the causes of my denial and a strategy for my call. If your status hasn’t been changed to an approval after a call you can also message them or send a letter, just be sure to consult this post for some helpful tips.
