Conclusion

This is another great sale from Delta if you were planning on flying one of these routes anyway.  And for all of the haters out there it isn’t for economy tickets this time around either ;).  I do think the cash prices offer the better deal most of the time. The cash prices are so low that the mile redemption value isn’t as high.  But if you are miles rich and don’t want to spend any money then you do you.

    • Flights this cheap during Thanksgiving week in economy would be a good deal much less First Class. If you were going to visit family on one of these routes that is good news. You also have to remember that Delta has a lot more routes on sale for these things then they publish so it is worth checking other routes.

    • Love that the $99 one is Buffalo-Boston (since Buffalo was also my second area airport)! This is double the price of JetBlue but for anyone that wants to take a bag, that price difference shrinks quickly and then you are also getting the priority airport experience (which can be huge during the holidays!) included. If someone does not have status to give them that, this is a great deal for them for sure!
I never look at Delta regional first class for the onboard experience since it is not that much to love (still better than economy!), but what I get for the value on the ground and it has always ended up cheaper for me to buy those tickets than economy and pay for bags.
