Two Good Deals Start & One Ends
Good morning. There are just a few small random deals and news items that I thought might be of interest, but don’t warrant their own blog post. Let’s take a look.
Frontier 12% Off
Frontier Airlines is running a new special where they are offering 12% off all flights with the code: HITTHEBOOKS. You must buy the tickets by July 17, 2014 and the discount is good for travel between August 20, 2014 & December 12, 2014.
They also have a variety of other flights on sale with fares starting from $49. The $49 sale is running through July 20, 2014 and is good for travel through November 19, 2014. Some examples of city pairs included in this sale are: Cleveland to Raleigh/Durham, Denver to Milwaukee & Washington DC to Charlotte.
Frontier recently adopted the ultra low cost carrier model, meaning they are much more like Spirit Airlines now than the legacy carriers. I have yet to fly Frontier, but that will change this October when I fly from Las Vegas to Washington DC on the $30 RT fares that I managed to snag during their sale a couple of months ago.
Travelpony is having a flash sale offering 10% off of any booking. To get the discount simply use the code: FLASHPONY at checkout. There were a total of 1,000 of these discounts available, but as of when this post goes live, that number is down to 350.
If you are looking to take advantage of this discount, I highly suggest asking fast. As always recommend shopping around before making any hotel booking. For more information on Travelpony and to learn how to get $35 off of your first booking click here. (Note: $35 first booking credit & flash sale cannot be combined.)
Citi AA Executive 100K Dead Again
The links for the Citi AA Executive 100K bonus offer stopped working once again. My guess is that they are probably gone for good, but with Citi who knows. Hopefully you were able to get in on the deal when the zombie links returned for a few days.
Well that is it for now. Hopefully you were able to snag a Citi AA Executive card when the 100,000 bonus was active if you indeed wanted one. Also, make sure to check out the Frontier and Travelpony sales if you have any upcoming travels for which they can help you save money. Have a great Tuesday!
